Hollywood has a funny way of making actors look younger than they really are. Good makeup, great acting, and the right clothes can make someone in their late 20s, 30s, or even 40s look like a high school student on screen.

Many famous stars have played teenage roles even though they were much older in real life. Some fans did not notice the age gap at all. Others were shocked when they found out how old these actors really were.

Here are some well-known stars who proved that age is not always a problem in Hollywood.

Bianca Lawson is one of the best examples of an actor who kept playing teenagers for a very long time. She appeared in many teen TV shows over the years, and fans often forgot she was much older than her characters.

She played Maya St. Germain in Pretty Little Liars while she was in her early 30s. Even then, she easily fit in with the younger cast. Before that, she had already appeared in other teen shows like Saved by the Bell: The New Class and Dawson’s Creek. Her youthful look helped her keep landing similar roles.
