When Queen Elizabeth II passed away on September 8, 2022, the royal family did not reveal her last spoken words. They chose to keep that private.

Royal writer Robert Hardman later shared that the Queen wrote two letters just two days before her death. They were placed inside her famous red box, where she kept important papers. One letter was for King Charles III, and the other was for her private secretary, Sir Edward Young.

No one has shared what the letters said. They may have included final messages, instructions, or both. What is known is that the Queen seemed to know her time was near and carefully finished her last important duties.

Actor and comedian John Belushi was loved for making people laugh. He became famous through comedy shows and movies, including The Blues Brothers.

Before his death in 1982 from a drug overdose, his friend Catherine Smith said his last words were, “Just don’t leave me alone.”

Those simple words are remembered as one of the saddest moments in his story.

John Wayne shared a loving message with his wife
