The decision came before the Wireless Festival in July 2026, where he was expected to perform as a headline act. Because he could not enter the country, the appearance could not go ahead.
According to reports, the UK Home Office rejected his travel application. Officials said the decision was based on concerns about his public image and stated that allowing him into the country would not be in the public interest.

Brad Pitt
Brad Pitt once found himself unable to enter China because of a movie role.
The issue was linked to the 1997 film Seven Years in Tibet. The movie tells a story connected to Tibet and presents the 14th Dalai Lama in a positive way.
Chinese authorities were unhappy with how Communist military officers were shown in the film. Because of this, Pitt was reportedly not allowed into the country for a period of time.
The situation later changed. In 2016, Pitt returned to China, showing that the restrictions were no longer in place.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga is known for her bold fashion choices and energetic stage performances. However, those same qualities created problems in Indonesia.

Just weeks before the event, Indonesian authorities refused to issue the permit needed for the show. The Islamic Defenders Front strongly opposed the concert and criticized the singer.

One issue involved Argentina. Reports claimed that he assaulted a photographer and showed disrespect toward the country’s flag during a concert in 2013.
